Abstract

The result of geochemical analysis on samples collected from weathering crust in Tân Ca (Mộc Châu Map Sheet) while carying out detail Cu-Au prospecting allowed us to draw the following conclusions:

Using secondary gechemical dispersion haloes in detail Cu, Pb-Zn investigation is an effective method in geological mapping and mineral investigation at Northern Geological Mapping Division.

The effectiveness of the method while prospecting Cu (Au) in Tân Ca was confirmed by discovery of new primary ore bodies as well as the close linkage between geochemical anomalies and Cu, Au primary ore bodies.
