Abstract
The Đa Krông - A Lưới area (Quảng Trị - Thừa Thiên Huế Provinces) has rather large potential in gold mineralization, with over 20 primary deposits and ore occurrences. The gold mineralization in this area is controlled by magmatic factors (intrusives of the Núi Ngọc and Bến Giằng - Quế Sơn Complexes and effusives of the Núi Vú Formation), lithologic-stratigraphic factors (greenschist of the Núi Vú and schists of the A Vương Formations), tectono-structural factors (accompanied faults and fissures of the Đa Krông - A Lưới Fault and tectonic fracture zones) and metamorphic factors.
