Abstract

At present, rockfall and the threat of rockfall in communication lines in mountainous areas of Quảng Bình Province is a great threat to all passers-by and affects construction works and all socio-economic, environmental and livelihood aspects.

This article presents the outcomes of the research on rockfall and the rockfall threat in communication lines in mountainous areas of Quảng Bình Province and proposes suitable prevention measures against this threat.
