Abstract

To date, some basins containing rock salt - gypsum of economic value have been discovered in PDR Lao. Upper Cretaceous formations containing this resource in different basins have quite similar sedimentary characteristics. In the Vientiane and Nong Box areas, there are fully three salt-bearing sedimentary cycles. In other areas, there are only two salt-bearing cycles.
