Abstract

Antimony is one of the main characteristic elements of North Việt Nam, South China and the whole Pacific dynamic belt. The North Việt Nam and South China are rich in antimony resources, ranking first in the world. Antimony deposits are generally restricted in the old platform and Phanerozoic orogenic belts. The main lateral zonation are as follows: Au-As, Au → Au-Sb → Au-Sb-Hg → Hg and Sn, W-Sn (Li, Be, Nb, Ta) → Pb-Zn (Bi) → Au (Ag). The North Việt Nam and South China antimony mineralization is similar in many aspects: spatial and time-age distributions, mineral assemblages, hosting environment rocks, ore body shapes, …
