Abstract
This paper presents the theoretical basis and the results from statistical methods to evaluate the distribution characteristics and the relationship between gold and accompanying elements (Ag, Pb and Zn) in the lode gold ores at Đăk Sa, and suggests the methods that can be applied for other regions with similar geological conditions. The results show that the gold content in lode ore bodies at Đăk Sa follows logarithmic distribution function. The gold content also has positive correlation with accompanying elements. However, the relationship between Au and associated minerals is different among ore bodies. This relationship is consistent with a paragenetic assemblage of minerals associated with gold ores in each studied area.
