Abstract

This article introduces some results of study on the increase of the intensity and content of radioactive substances due to the exploration of rare earth ores containing radioactive elements in the Đông Pao and Nậm Xe Areas in Lai Châu Province. In the mean time, it also proposes measures for prevention and mitigation of adverse impacts of radioactive pollution on the staff and workers involved in the mine production and the population in the surrounding areas.
