Abstract

This paper presents research results of Foraminifera fossil in Quaternary - modem 3 marine sediments of the Thừa Thiên - Huế area (water depth of 0 - 30 m ). Based on the analysis of 77 samples have identified 82 species, 5 suborders Foraminifera: Miliolina Delage and Héouard, 1896 suborder has 6 families, 16 genra and 35 species; Rotaliina Delage and Héouard, 1896 suborder has 11 families, 14 genra, 25 species; Textulariina, Delage and Héouard, 1896 suborder has 5 families, 7 genra, 11 species; suborder I Lagenina, Delage and Héouard, 1896 suborder has 3 families, 3 genra, 5 species; I suborder Globigerinina Delage and Héouard, 1896 suborder has 1 families, 3 genra, 6 species. All of them belong to ecological group of shallow nearshore, coastal marine, where the salt concentration in the water is not stable and relatively high in hydrodynamic regime.
