Abstract

This paper introduces the process of foundation and development of Union of Geophysics from 1967 to present. During nearly 50 years of operation, the Union of Geophysics has established a multiprofesional workforce, who are experienced and qualified to undertake different tasks of geophysical survey: Ground geophysical survey, airborne geophysical survey, marine geophysical survey, etc. The results of these works are important contributions to geological and mineral investigation. In the new stage of development of the country, Union of Geophysics targets to develop advanced methods for subsurface mineral deposit prospecting, marine geological and mineral investigation as well as to improvethe technology of integrated airborne geophysical survey, etc.
