The oxidation - reduction state of Bến Tuần granites and their metalogical potential

Abstract

 

Oxidation-reduction state of magma in general and graniotide in particular are important for determining the metallogene potential for magma bodies. Oxidation-reduction conditions help to explain geochemical specialization not only at the content level, but also on the geochemical behavior of the elements.

For the first time, research primary inclusions by Thermobarogeochemical method (RAMAN equipment) has identified that Bến Tuần block’s granite has oxidation state (CO2-rich primary inclusions). This condition is not favorable for the metallogenic specalization of Sn, but it can be advantageous to move Mo and Cu from magma to ore solution.
