Abstract
While studying the inhomogeneity of the geoelectricity of the media by magnetotelluric method, not only studying theory but we have also improved the data collection. Previously, only two components of te magnetic field: Hx and Hy [1, 2]were measured. Nowadays, In order to improve the information on the changes in horizontal conduction, we also measure Hz component. The relationship between these three components of magnetic field is described through the Wiese-Parkinson matrix. /Two main methods are use to solve the Wiese-Parkinson Matrix, which are induction vector and magnetic variation method. In this paper, we present an overview of these two methods as well as their application in data processing in South Kamchatka in order to draw out useful evaluations for magnetotelluric study.
