Abstract

Zircon grain (VC.5828) separated  from the biotite gneiss of the Sin Quyền Complex, Phan Si Pan Belt was dated by U-Pb dating LA-ICPMS method. Analytical results demonstrated the age from 1767-1850 Ma., evidence for the metamorphic age of the Sin Quyền Complex, corresponding to the Paleoproterozoic Era. Meanwhile, a period of tectonic thermology at high grade PaleoProterozoic metamorphism was confirmed, which impacted the previous periods.
