Abstract
The Tân Ca copper (Gold) mineralization belongs to the Tân Ca mineralization zone [1], the ore bodies are all related to brocken zones and mylonite of volcanic rocks of the Viên Nam Formation. The ore bodies are characterized by complex shapes and sizes and variable Cu content.
The primary ore minerals mainly are disseminated, pockage chalcopyrite filling in the quartz veins and/or disseminated in the basaltic rocks. The secondary minerals comprise of bornite, covellite, and azurite, which formed in pockages or veilets in the rock fractures. Apart from the main mineral copper (gold), associated minerals such as lead, zinc and barite have also been discovered.
