Journal of Geology has been published annually since 1961, including 2-6 Vietnamese editions and 2 English editions. For many years, the Journal of Geology has been ranked by the State Council of Professors as one of the leading journals in the field of earth sciences with high scores (1961-2014: 0-1 point; 2015-2018: 0-0.75 points; 2019-2020: 0-1 point; 2021-2024: 0-0.75 points). In which, the English version is widely used not only in Vietnam but also cited and used by many scientists around the world. The publication of research results in the Journal of Geology has been a source of pride for many generations of scientists, lecturers, researchers, graduate students and students at home and abroad.
